| Volunteering We can always use volunteers! Volunteers help fund raise, help at adoption fairs, 'get the word out', do home checks, and a variety of other tasks. Some can be done from home, over the Internet or over the phone. Some are very 'hands on' with the dogs and fun! Fostering If you're not sure which dog is right for you but really want to help, consider becoming a foster family to one or more of our dogs. A&S Rescue is an all-volunteer rescue group and we have no board and brick shelter. If we can't foster them with our volunteer families, we can't help them. It's a wonderful thing to do! Foster families go through the same application process as adopters but without the long-term commitment. Fostering can be for only a few weeks or several months. Most foster families keep the dog until it is adopted but other shorter term fosters are needed too.
